CLUB CODE OF CONDUCT
PLASHET HOCKEY CLUB

This Code of Conduct identifies the standard of behaviour, which is expected of all players, members, managers and directors of Plashet Hockey Club.

Plashet Hockey Club is committed to providing a sport environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and equality. Members of Plashet Hockey Club shall conduct themselves at all times in a fair and responsible manner.

Members shall refrain from comments or behaviours, which are; disrespectful, offensive, abusive, racist or sexist. The club will not tolerate any behaviour, which constitutes as harassment or abuse; in turn disciplinary action will be enforced in any proven instance by Plashet Hockey Club.

During the course of all Plashet Hockey Clubs’ activities and events, members shall avoid behaviour, which brings Plashet Hockey Club or the sport of hockey into disrepute, including but not limited to abusive use of alcohol and non-medical use of drugs or illegal substances. Members shall not use any performance enhancing drugs or methods at any period.

All Plashet Hockey Club members shall at all times adhere to Plashet Hockey Club’s and the ‘Hockey Associations’ operational policies and procedures, to rules governing any Plashet Hockey Club events and activities and to rules governing any competition in which the member participates on behalf of the club.

Members of the club shall not engage in activity or behaviour which endangers the safety of others.

Failure to comply with this code of conduct may result in the disciplinary action, suspension or release from membership of Plashet Hockey Club.

Such action may result in the member losing the privileges that come with membership of Plashet Hockey Club, including the opportunity to participate in the clubs’ activities.
